How do I become a patient at Fort Bend Family Health Center, Inc.?If you are uninsured, then you must register with FBFHC. No appointment is required, and you may come anytime Monday thru Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Once your are registered, you are placed in a group based on your household monthly income. This determines what fees you will pay at your appointment. All uninsured patients, no matter their monthly income, must pay a $15 co-pay to be seen by the physician. The remaining balance, determined by the individual's group, will then be paid at the end of the visit. For more information, visit our Registration page. If you have insurance, please call your benefits office to determine if Fort Bend Family Health Center is in network. Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP and some private insurances are accepted. Back to TopWhat information do I need to bring with me when I register?There are a few documents that you must bring with you when you register with the center. All of our physicians are board certified or board eligible, and every medical provider undergoes an extensive credentialing process. Back to TopHow do I schedule an appointment?You may schedule an appointment at the Richmond Center by calling 281-342-4530. Put in extension 6-1-2 to schedule an appointment with a doctor, and extension 6-3 to schedule an appointment with the WIC program. You may also walk-in to schedule an appointment. If you need to see a doctor and there are no available appointments, then you may walk-in and wait to see if there has been a cancellation. We can not guarantee that you will be seen, as appointments are our first priority. After an appointment with one of our providers, you may then be referred to the dentist. We will provide you with the Dental Clinic contact information, and it is your responsibility to schedule an appointment. Because we have such a high demand for appointments at the dental clinic, missing your dental appointment without calling to cancel will result in a charge to your account.
